Multi-sport kids' recreation programming. Thursdays, starting January 23rd until February 20th at the Dutton Community Center. 6yrs-8yrs 6:30-7:30pm and 9yrs to 13yrs 7:30-8:30pm Registration is $25.00/registrant. Dutton Dunwich Community Pool

196 Queen Street, Dutton

The community pool offers fun aquatic opportunities throughout the summer months such as swimming lessons, daily recreational swimming and much more! Pool rentals are also available for special events at reasonable rates.

Summer 2024 Swimming Lessons

We are currently switching from the Red Cross to the Lifesaving Society Program.

We will be offering a caregiver and tot open swim instead of lessons for children under 3yrs.

If you are interested in private swimming lessons, swim team or bronze medallion you are not required to attend registration, please contact charlotte at coliver@duttondunwich.on.ca

To register, please fill out the Registration Form and bring it to the Municipal Office at 199 Currie Road.

Session 1: July 2-12

Preschool 2 (previously Sea Otter) - These preschoolers learn to jump into chest-deep water by themselves and get in and get out wearing a lifejacket. They'll submerge and exhale underwater. Wearing a lifejacket they'll glide on their front and back.

Preschool 4 (previously Salamander) - Advanced preschoolers will learn to do solo jumps into deeper water and get out by themselves. They'll do sideways entries and open their eyes underwater. They'll master a short swim on their front wearing a lifejacket and gliding and kicking on their side.

Join the Dutton Dolphins Swim Team!

For anyone 6yrs-16yrs of age, who can swim the length of the pool unassisted.

The swim team practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3pm-4pm.

Swim team helps kids improve their swimming strokes and gives them the opportunity to take part in local, for-fun competitions while gaining confidence and making new friends.

The cost to join is $68.36/per swimmer.
